Atrangi Re : Crisp Visuals & Calming Music That Will Transport You Back in Time

‘Atrangi’ means weird, but in an affectionate way, ‘Atrangi re’ remains Atrangi. Most of the time, this film will leave you perplexed and wanting more information. Not very long ago Anand came up with an entirely new narrative called Zero, which did not go well for him, but with Atrangi Re, he checked practically all the boxes for successful Hindi movies- melodrama, comedy, music, and romance. Must say, the filmmaking is so pure that it feels like it might have been adapted from any fictional novel.

“Heart wants what it wants”, The movie completely relies on a brilliant script. It’s not the love triangle or the twist that keeps you interested; it’s the crisp visuals and calming music that will transport you back in time.

Can you imagine how it feels to have an urge to find someone you care about,& When you find one, that person is unaware of your feelings? Isn’t it heartbreaking when that happens? So you’ve got to knock her heart in order to get what’s rightfully yours.

It’s been a long time since Bollywood has seen a film like this — nostalgic. The second half of the film may be tedious at times, but it rapidly picks up and ensures that no one is bored. Dhanush stays consistent throughout the film and provides a range of performances. Whether expressing astonishment and anger at being kidnapped or declaring his love for Rinku, Dhanush nails it.

Although the humour is hit-or-miss, Akshay Kumar does a decent job, and Sara deserves praise. Sara is the only one who has enough space to showcase her acting abilities. She gives one of her best performances as the character. The film was released on Disney+ Hotstar; it deserves to be seen in a theater. Prepare to be enthralled by a triangle love story with a distinct appeal.
