Haseen Dilruba reminds me a little bit of Anurag Kashyap’s Manmarziyan.

If you’ve seen it, you won’t notice much difference here; it’s very much the same.

Talking about the movie, it’s a twisted romance with a lot of plot holes in it. All characters in the movie kept switching personalities throughout the film which didn’t make sense. Vikrant Massey is shown as decent at first then he gets violent, Tapseee is desperate for sex but later she is emotional & willing to do anything for the sake of love.

Harshvardhan seems to love Tapsee but he is actually a cheat. It’s amusing because each character has a different personality.

Even though the film is straightforward & predictable, the director tries to keep the thrill element, which fails, but it’s entertaining to watch. There’s sex, drama, action & a bit of horror, a thriller combined.

Vikrant does the job well, gets enough screen presence while Tapsee acted well, her eyebrows are distracting though. Harshvardhan’s role is not impactful, he appears to be there solely to display the body. His Dialogue delivery doesn’t even fill the audience. For his fans, this is a huge letdown.

Climax felt strange. The only thing that works is Amit Trivedi’s music and a few excellent Vikrant moments.
