The movie follows a similar storyline that begins with a bang but doesn’t take long for the true story to emerge.

Since I have been familiar with such a plot I find this film mediocre. However if you have free time & want something to distract this movie can work as a filler; it is fairly interesting/engaging. I personally think that the plot is a bit formulaic & predictable. Without any serious acting skills like Gerard Butler or decent character development, this makes you lose interest pretty fast. His performance as a husband is on point.

Talking about this film, in particular, the concept is based on statistics. Every 10 seconds, a woman goes missing in the United States. Despite who was behind the crime, whether a stranger or someone she knows, violence happens more often than not. The film Last Seen Alive shows how one man copes with his loss through an emotional and physical attempt to take back what was taken from him — that’s his wife after all.

Disappearance however is so unrealistic: The wife cheats on and then wants a break from a committed husband who works hard and is in love with her. This is pitiful.
